In the Florida Panhandle, the water reminds you of emeralds, the sand is sugar white, and the sun shines brightly!
This Northwest area begins in the west at Perido Key and Pensacola Beach and extends along the Gulf of Mexico to Navarre Beach, Ft. Walton Beach, Destin, The Beaches of South Walton, Panama City Beach, Cape San Blas, and St. George Island.
This entire area has been rated the #1 beach region in America, and is absolutely perfect for a Florida vacation rental!
The North Central Florida coastline is properly nicknamed "Big Bend," and is characterized by marsh, with a few secluded beach areas offering privacy for those who want to get away from it all.
In the Northeast territory, you'll find the splashy surf and wide, firm beaches of the upper Atlantic. Rolling dunes define this shoreline.
This area is loved by sailboarders and surfers.
When you reach the Central East coast, you'll find a surfer on every wave. Dune-covered sand and a national seashore protect the pristine beachfront for miles. The hard-packed sand of Daytona is located in this area as well. (Yes, you can still drive on the beach!)
But our family is very partial to the Panama City Beach area, due to the many amenities it offers.
A happy-go-lucky attitude defines Central West Florida, including the string of Gulf Coast barrier islands. This area draws a youthful crowd looking for lively beachside amusements.
